Our Story
Hotelesque was founded in July 2011 with an ambitious goal: to deliver furnished property management better than anyone else in the market. In our early days, corporate rentals were largely business-to-business, and our portfolio was broad and varied.
When Airbnb arrived, it opened up exciting new possibilities. It introduced our properties to the world and introduced us to guests who expected far more than just a place to sleep. In 2019, we embraced that change by sharpening our focus on three things: the property, the owner behind it, and the guest experience. We chose to say yes only to what met the Hotelesque standard.
That focus carried us through shifting market cycles, supported by long-standing relationships with the film and entertainment industry. Our move to Bondi Beach then opened doors we never could have predicted. Fifteen years on, Hotelesque is a specialist team of more than ten people managing over 100 fully furnished properties across Sydney’s Eastern Suburbs, still driven by what matters most: the owner and the guest.

Hotelesque is grounded in Steve’s two decades of experience at leading property firms in senior finance and management roles, where he drove the development of innovative online products which were a first for the industry.
Steve is pioneering the development of technology within the business that focuses on creating turn-key solutions for existing and future home owners and guests.
Monique Eyles
Co-Founder and CEO
As a director at Hotelesque, Monique combines her skills in finance, property management and interior design to create a differentiated offering which delivers superior service to property owners and a unique premium experience to guests.
Monique champions her interior design expertise to drive bookings, where experience shows properties styled command higher occupancy levels than other properties.
Louise Kelly
Head of Sales and Guest Experience
As Head of Sales and Guest Experience, Louise brings extensive experience from her sales and marketing background in the Luxury Hotel Industry where she managed specialist markets such as the Entertainment and Diplomatic Government Markets.
Specialising in building and maintaining strong relationships, Louise adds great value with her understanding of the needs of the discerning traveller and corporate guests.
Louise also manages our 7 day a week-team to ensure easy booking access for guests.
